INSPIRATION
I’ve never been a superstitious person, but I’ll admit, I love checking the Chinese horoscope at the start of each year. In February 2025, the Year of the Snake began and a idea came up to me during a Winter evening at the studio.
I painted this piece as a little tribute to all the new opportunities that come with a fresh cycle.
The abstract landscape (with a snake shape) represents the whole year. The abstract forms were meant to let your imagination wander… the kind of piece where everyone sees something different depending on what they’re hoping for next.
