INSPIRATION
Was NOT planning to stop that day… During early Fall and Spring, I drive during sunset time, so I get to experience it everyday. More than once, I had to take an exit and take some shots at the amazing view.
One late February day in 2023, the sunset was incredible. The colors of the sky reflecting in the clouds was well worth the stop. When I came back home I went directly to the studio and painted it.
This was a personal reminder to slow down and appreciate the beauty around, even if it’s only for a few seconds, on a random weekday. A charge of routine, a different POV.
This piece is ideal for any rooms of the house, from bedroom to entryway, and a great gift for any sunset lover. Perfectly matched with Sunrise in the Fields.
The original painting was created in acrylic and was sold in 2025 to a collector in the U.S.
