INSPIRATION
Both of my parents grew up in a very agricultural community outside of the city, similar to Champaign County.
In 2019, I visited the areas with my father and spent the day walking along wheat fields and prairies under the June sun.
I took many pictures, but my favorite was this poppy field with the romanic church from the town called Esguevillas, where my father is from.
What a peaceful place. Endless fields of wheat waving the breeze, nothing around, just silence.
So I captured this late Spring day into a painting.
The original sold in 2021, but this image worth deserves a beautiful print.
