INSPIRATION

I met them during Boneyard 2021. Her family was from Norway, and his from Scotland. About to get married, they decided to commission a piece for each location. But that was just the beginning.

I learned that Ellyn had gone with his father on an adventurous trip to Norway years ago to find their relatives—and they succeeded! They were coming to their wedding so they wanted to have a painting made for the occasion. 

This painting is inspired by a beautiful view of Ølen in Norway, a small northern town known for its glaciers and breathtaking scenery, making it a popular destination for Norwegian fjord cruises.
