INSPIRATION
Every December, I take a long break from my busy life in the US to visit my hometown in Valladolid, Spain and reconnect with my roots.
When people ask me about where I’m from, I always say: “Valladolid is a mixture between the Italian Tuscany, for their food and wine, and the Midwest for it’s flatlands and amazing sunsets.”
My time in Spain was filled with long mindfulness walks along the fields, who served as the inspiration for this painting. Walking with no direction, just for the shake of time alone and in nature.
“Morning Walk” promotes calm and relaxation. It’s ideal for quiet rooms like bedrooms, offices and reading rooms.
