Golden Hour Silhouette

"Golden Hour Silhouette" is inspired by a particular walk in West Side Park in Champaign, IL during the Summer of 2023. 

The sun is going down, the trees are casting large shadows as a I walk with no direction and a full mind. Time to unpack the events of the day in a moment for myself. No schedule, no direction and no company. 

The composition emanates a sense of warmth thru the predominant yellow hues which contrasts with the cold blues through a smooth bright green transition. The painting has a texture effect created with multiple layers of paint. 

Ideal for bedrooms, living and reading rooms.
